The Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church presents “Discovering
Your Destiny – Stir Up the Gift,” the Music and Collaborative Arts Workshop,
including a Workshop Choir Concert. This
three-day event begins with workshops and a choir rehearsal on Friday,
September 27 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 28, at 9:00 a.m. through 12
noon. On Sunday, September 29, at 4:00
p.m. the Workshop Choir will present a concert. Each event will be held at the
Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church located at 1879 Glenwood Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30316, where
Reverend Dr. William Flippin is the senior pastor.
Special guest workshop clinician is Rev. Eddie Robinson, Ft.
Lauderdale, Florida, Preacher/Minister of Music/ Song Writer. Some of his works include Co-songwriter of
Dottie People’s hit “On Time God” and “I’ve Been Singing Hallelujah All
Day.” Workshop participants will engage
in biblical study and clinical training in keyboards, organ, guitar, drums,
choir decorum, drama, liturgical dance, vocal coaching, and leading worship
services.
