$5 Community Yoga with Jared Dawson

Relax and renew at the end of your week with a lunch-time restorative
yoga practice. Restorative yoga uses props (blankets, blocks, straps,
and bolsters) to allow practitioners to linger in postures while the
body releases and the mind calms. Suitable for all body types and levels
of experience.

Jared Dawson completed his 200 hour training in Atlanta, GA with
Leigh Anne Neal at Nirvana Yoga in 2011. He started practicing yoga as
therapy for the onset of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in 2006 and has been
hooked since.

As an active writer in Atlanta’s literary scene, reading aloud plays a
large part in his classes. The role of the subtle/energetic body is
explored and impacted through breathing, imagination, and good old
fashioned sweating. Never one to hitch his horse to just one wagon,
Jared enjoys teaching classes that range from kick-your-butt strength
building to gentle restorative introspections of the still places of the
psyche.
