Passo a Frente (PAF) LLC is dedicated to providing quality instruction in the cultural arts of Brazil.  Some of these arts include:

Capoeira, a uniquely Brazilian art form that combines movements from martial arts, dance and acrobatics all set to Afro-Brazilian musical rhythms;

Samba, the most well-known form of dance from Brazil that makes use of African based percussive rhythms; and

Batucada, the musical arm of samba made up of a percussive ensemble.   

 PAF strives for individual and community development and our programs expose both youth and adult participants to the vibrant dance, music, language (Portuguese) and culture of Brazil.  Brazil, often best known for its beaches, soccer teams and Carnival celebrations is now one of the fastest growing economies in the world and is increasingly recognized as a major global force.   Now residents of Atlanta don't need to purchase a plane ticket to enjoy all that Brazilian culture has to offer.
