Few fresh details of Friday afternoon's shooting at Ponce and Moreland have been released.
The Atlanta Police Department has identified the victim of the Friday afternoon shooting at Ponce de Leon and Moreland Avenue as Graham Sisk, 23. Atlanta police say they belive that Sisk was targetted by his attackers and that the crime was not random. The brazen, daylight shooting at a busy intersection has shocked many in the Virginia-Highland/Druid Hills community. According to an APD news release, Sisk was traveling northbound on Moreland Ave approaching Ponce De Leon when "suspects approached him and fired multiple times. ...It appears that there may be two suspect vehicles and multiple suspects involved." Atlanta police are looking for two or more vehicles that were apparently involved in the fatal incident.
A man was shot to death at the intersection of Ponce de Leon and Moreland Avenue on Friday afternoon, and police are searching for suspects. The Atlanta Police Department says that a man was apparently shot multiple times while sitting in his car at the intersection around 4 p.m. According to an APD news release, the victim was traveling northbound on Moreland Ave approaching Ponce De Leon when "suspects approached him and fired multiple times.
