Inman Park Man Robbed in Reynoldstown

Robbers pulled out a weapon before fleeing.

Editor's note: Valencia Hudson, the Atlanta City Council's District 5 public safety liaison, issued the following crime alert to the Inman Park community regarding aarmed robbery that occurred on Seaboard Avenue in neighboring Reynoldstown: On Jan. 13, 2013 at approx. 11:40 p.m. Officer P. Williams received a call to Hurt Street in reference to a pedestrian robbery. Upon arrival she was met by the victim who advised that he was walking near the Inman Park MARTA station when he was approached by five black males. He could not advise the exact location of the incident. He stated that the males asked him for a piece of gum and he checked his pockets and advised that he did not have any. Things don't add up. How is it that the victim lives in the area and could not advise the exact location of the incident? Walking near the MARTA station at 11:30pm???   more ›
