Friends of East Atlanta Library is hosting Santa Claus at the library, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. today, Dec. 8. Donations will buy children's books. Santa will read a few books and listen to Christmas lists. Bring your own camera.

Library celebrates with seven-year milestone in new location with a party.
The Friends of East Atlanta Library are throwing a party for the library’s seventh birthday in the “new” building at its present site. To celebrate, the Friends of East Atlanta Library invite everyone of all ages to the party at 400 Flat Shoals Ave. at 12:30 p.m. today. Partygoers will be treated to Morelli’s Ice Cream and cake and a puppet show. The event is free to all.
