Saturday Easter Egg Hunt at Kirkwood's Bessie Branham Park
The free event begins at 10 a.m. and the hunts will be grouped by age. Children ages up to 12 are invited to participate in the egg hunts and there will be many activities for the children.

Springvale Park's Egg-cellent Easter
It wouldn't be Easter without an Easter Egg hunt.
Inman Park kiddies enjoyed themselves recently to a good ol' fashioned Easter Egg Hunt in Springvale Park. Aside from giving the children a little bit of fun, the hunt served as a fundraiser for the playground at the park. The Springvale Park Playground Committee raised about $1,200 for ongoing efforts.

Volunteers Needed For Candler Park's Easter "Egg-stravaganza"
Annual Easter egg hunt scheduled for April 7.
by Mark Clement Here comes Peter Cotton Tail! It is time for the Candler Park’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. We will be kicking off the hunt at 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 7. We will have three categories in three different areas at the same time. This year we are going from 2,000 to 2,500 eggs! We promise if you get you kid to the hunt on time and they make their best effort and do not find an egg then they will be able to take the Easter Bunny home with you. (But you will have to feed him.) Each category will have a magic Roster egg — an Easter egg fashioned as a roster with a special prize. And yeas the non-threatening Easter Bunny will be there. I have no doubt that there are some parents South of Dekalb who get some use out of those public parks, but the fact remains that very many parents utilize private institutions for pursuit of the Easter Egg.
