Editor's note: Charlotte Nelson, the head chef at Fox. Bros. Bar-B-Q, died last week following her fight with stage 4 inflammatory breast cancer. Fox Bros.' Head Chef Loses Cancer Battle

Charlotte Nelson was 37.

CANDLER PARK — Charlotte Nelson, the beloved head chef of Fox. Bros. Bar-B-Q, has died. Ms. Nelson, 37, passed away Saturday night, a little more than two months after discovering she had stage four inflammatory breast cancer. Funeral arrangements are pending. Her friends and family had planned a fundraiser Feb. 26, and that will continue as a celebration of her life, a Fox Bros. spokeswoman told East Atlanta Patch Monday. That event, Charlotte’s Web…Cancer Touches Us All, is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the SweetWater Brewery, 195 Ottley Drive NE.
