Watson's Plea
Rescued dog and Animal Action Rescue need our immediate help
When people visit a shelter to find the perfect addition to their families, injured animals, older dogs and cats, brindle and black coats, mutts and other “less desireables” are often overlooked for specialty breeds and younger animals. This was Watson's predicament. Animal Action Rescue has this to say about Watson, after meeting him at Dekalb Animal Services: “He was so sweet and gentle, and he gave the tiniest little kisses once outside of his pen. [The AAR volunteer] noticed that he was favoring his back, right leg and that it was swollen. Watson had other injuries consistent with abuse including a broken upper canine, a missing lower canine and a large scar on the top of his head.
