Horizons School

Founded in 1978, the Horizons School is a kindergarten through 12th-grade private school in Atlanta's Lake Claire neighborhood. The school's students are mainly from metro Atlanta and a number of international students come from abroad and board at Horizons. The school emphasizes academics, but it also has a number of different initiatives that incorporate and encourage students' involvement in community service and internships. Athletics and the arts also are part of the curriculum.
