SAT — Aug. 10:
- Organized Neighbors of Summerhill present "Trucks on the Hill," featuring several of Atlanta's food trucks at Georgia and Martin streets.
- Georgia’s Back-to-school tax-free holiday savings at Phipps Plaza and Lenox Square Mall. (Buckhead)
- Candler Park's Peace, Love and Watermelon. This event is essentially pre- movie night festivities. From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. (or while supplies last) the Candler Park Neighborhood Organization is offering FREE ICE COLD WATERMELON.
- Atlanta City Councilwoman Carla Smith, who represents District 1, is hosting a public safety community day with Mayor Kasim Reed from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Ormewood Park Presbyterian Church, 1071 Delaware Avenue.
- Weekend Brunch Launch at The Albert in Inman Park.
