Good Deed Scavenger Hunt, EAV's Small Business Saturday and More

Here are the events of note for this weekend:

Friday, November 29, 2013:

  • Holiday Choral Series 2013 at Underground Atlanta: Join Underground Atlanta for a season of Christmas carols! Local and regional school and church choirs, musicians, vocalists and bands will spread holiday cheer with live performances.
  • Artist Market and Black Friday Sale at the Breman Museum: Instead of fighting crowds at the mall, come to our mid-Hanukkah sale on Black Friday! We will be hosting local artists as well as selling our Judaica, jewelry, apparel, and books at up to 75% off! While you're here, check out our new exhibition, Return to Rich's: The Story Behind the Store.
Saturday, November 30, 2013:
  • Cat Adoptions at Petco Atlanta-Edgewood: Come visit the Furkids cats!  Some of our adoptable cats are located in the Petco store to meet and greet potential families during store hours. Cats stay overnight and are rotated in/out of the store on a schedule.  Please stop by and visit with them or view all available cats (and dogs!) at http://www.furkids.org/.
  • EAV's Small Business Saturday: Remember to SHOP SMALL on Small Business Saturday in the East Atlanta Village on Saturday, Nov. 30. Your favorite shops from Urban Cannibals to Carson Bryce Trading Co. to Park Pet Supply all have special deals to keep local dollars circulating in our neighborhood.
Monday, December 2, 2013:
  • Virtual Good Deed Scavenger Hunt by Community Bucket: Community Bucket is hosting a virtual good-deed challenge next week, starting at midnight on December 2nd and ending at 5pm on December 6th. We're also giving away a special grand prize to the winner - $100 do-good grant for any project of your choice to help make Atlanta better in some way.
