• Going Places Network by WalMart helps unemployed and under-employed women gain professional skills, accelerate their job search and build confidence through weekly training sessions, one-on-one career coaching and networking in a supportive environment. For more information about the program view: www.gpnatlanta.blogspot.com. Applications are now being accepted for Dress For Success Going Places Network by WalMart. The Going Places Network event is at June 17 at 9 a.m., 67 Peachtree Park Drive NE. Cost: FREE.

• Dine Out for Pride at Doc Chey’s and Osteria 832 in June: June 19, 2013, 5 p.m. Doc Chey's, 563 Memorial Dr SE. Every Wednesday night in June, the HomeGrown Restaurants are donating a portion of each guest’s bill to Atlanta Pride Committee.
