  • NPU-M Meeting: 6:30 p.m., Helene Mills Senior Facility, 515 John Wesley Dobbs Ave. On the agenda is a review of the revised plans for the Our Lady of Lourdes Church parking lot.
  • A Taste of India Benefit Dinner: Come to Dr. Bombay's in Candler Park for A Taste of India - a dinner benefitting young female scholars in India. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, October 31, 2013:
  • Georgia A-Scary-Um: Celebrate this year’s haunting holiday with Georgia Aquarium as it transforms into Georgia A-Scary-Um from Oct. 31- Nov. 2! Surrounded by Halloween decorations and music, guests can trick-or-treat alongside Japanese spider crabs and “ghost jellies.”
Saturday, November 2, 2013:
  • Natural Building: Cob Oven: If you’ve been wanting to explore cob and natural building, this is the perfect opportunity to learn the foundations, its implementations, and try your hand as some sculptural design.
  • Cabbagetown's Chomp and Stomp11th annual Chomp & Stomp Festival includes a 5K followed up with beer for breakfast and 4 music stages for bluegrass music. At 12:30 the Chili Tasting Begins! Grab that $5 spoon and dive down the Chili Rows. Are you going to hit individual chilis first or do you find it hard to resist the temptations of Restaurant Row.
