Beginning Weaving: Inkle Loom: Often times when someone is curious about weaving, they imagine a daunting affair with towering floor looms and neverending warps. While that kind of weaving is certainly stunning and satisfying, let’s get you started on something a bit more small-scale and portable: the Inkle loom!

Candlelight Vigil for the Uninsured: Health Students Taking Action Together, Inc. (HealthSTAT) will honor those who lost their lives due to lack of insurance by holding a candlelight vigil on the steps of the Georgia state capitol. Nearly two million Georgians – or 20% of the state’s population-- are uninsured and more than one thousand Georgians die each year due to uninsurance.
