Storm Delays Atlanta Trash Pick-Up
'Please expect delayed pick-up service for the remainder of the week.'
Due to inclement weather conditions, the Atlanta city offices are now closed and will reopen on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014 at 11 a.m.
Solid Waste pick-up of household garbage, yard trimmings and recycling has been discontinued for today.
"We will possibly resume on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014 if road and weather conditions have improved to allow for safe travel," public works department spokeswoman Valerie Bell-Smith said in a statement.
