On Saturday, DeKalb County Commissioner Larry L. Johnson presented EACA President Austin Dickson and President-Elect Lewis Cartee with the "Ernest Prather Neighborhood Association Award" at an annual Christmas celebration hosted by several commissioners at South DeKalb Mall.
The award, named after the founder of the Toney Gardens Civic Club, is given each year to the DeKalb County organization that illustrates the best practices in community development.
