Looking for summer events to occupy the kids?
- The East Lake Junior Golf Summer Camp at the Charlie Yates Golf Course is now open. The Golf For Life Camp, which is for youth ages 7 through 17 is for youth 7-17 yrs old and is open to everyone in all Zip codes. The Golf 4 Life Camp, which runs through July 13, is limited to 50 people on a first come, first serve basis. - The Epworth Day School in Candler Park is offering summer fun camps most weeks this summer for little ones as young as 2.5 to 6 years old. The regular weekly camps run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and each week has a special theme. EDS' specialty camps have openings, too, and offer fun for older kids. - KIDS COOK! June 18-22, taught by Mary Lin Elementary's Nancy Davin will teach kids to cook food from all around the world. Recipes include cheesy lasagna, pizza bears, and sausage mummies.
- CHEER CAMP! June 25-29. Tumble, flip, shout, and whoop! Ages 4-7. 9 a.m to 12 p.m.
