Pushups for Charity to Benefit the Wounded Warrior Project

Conceived in 2010 as a way for the leading fitness business owners across America to inspire their respective towns and cities to get fit, have fun, and make a difference by raising funds for the wounded warriors who selflessly sacrifice for our freedom, Pushups for Charity has since raised over a quarter of a million dollars for charity and gotten thousands of people to embrace a healthy lifestyle.

And that is just the beginning. This year the Challenge is bigger and better than ever.

The Challenge has three teams competing for the pushups crown:

1. Atlanta Fire Fighters
2. Atlanta Police Officers
3. Atlanta "Regular Joe's and Jane's

The "Regular Joe's and Jane's" will be comprised of regular folks from Atlanta who want to come out and do as many pushups as they can in 90 seconds. Everyone and anyone is welcome to participate. The only requirement is that each individual raise at least $50 in donations by asking your friends, family, and coworkers to donate towards their pushups effort.

The brave and respected Atlanta Fire Fighters and Police Officers will also be raising funds through donations from their friends, family, and coworkers.

Our goal for the Atlanta Pushups For Charity Challenge is to raise at least $8,000 for Wounded Warrior Project.

All donations are tax-deductible and go to Wounded Warrior Project in support of our troops. If you have questions about the Challenge, please call 404.380.1111 or email delaine@gymcondition.com

The winning team will be determined by adding up the total number of pushups performed in 90 seconds by the top five participants from each team.

Many of our local Atlanta businesses are sponsoring the Atlanta Pushups For Charity Challenge by donating some very nice gifts that will be awarded to the winning team. If you are a local business owner and would like to sponsor the Challenge, please visit the website (AtlantaPushupChallenge.zreply.com)

All participants and donors receive links to Online Kettlebell "How-to's" and 3 workouts that teaches you how to lose weight and get fit.

Thank you for your interest in Atlanta Pushups For Charity Challenge. We look forward to having you participate, sponsor, or donate...and to helping you get fit, have fun, and make a difference!
