Delaware North Cos. and Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Interntional Airport showcased student artwork entitled “Phoenix Rising from Peach” from Maynard H. Jackson High School this summer during the completion of the company’s construction project in the Maynard H. Jackson International Terminal.

Last Thursday, the painting sold for $450 to a contributor in California and Delaware North Cos. provided an additional $500 to support Maynard H. Jackson High School.

I attended the event with Art Instructor Kevin McGannon. I am very proud of the detailed artwork our Maynard Jackson High School student participants submitted for the showcase as ninth and tenth grade students last spring.
