The awarded with its "Community Partner of the Year" award on Sunday, Dec. 18.

The FitWit Foundation's mission is to help young people live healthy
and successful lives. It conducted it's seventh fitness program with teens
and teachers at Jackson from September 2011 to October 2011.

We have strengthened our alliance and our shared resources with Maynard
Jackson High School. This past year was a combined effort in reaching new
students, engaging great teachers into the program and giving some great
visibility to how organizations and schools can make a joint impact.

Jackson Assistant Principal Donavin Murdock received the award on behalf of the school at the annual event, which was held at Zoo Atlanta.
