Georgia State Wins First of Two-Game Series Against UNC Asheville

The Georgia State Panthers took care of the UNC Asheville Bulldogs in the opener of a two-game series, winning 7-1 at Panthersville Stadium.
The Panthers' bats, led by CAA Player of The Week, junior first baseman, Brandon Williams, set the tone for the ballgame in the first two innings, scoring six runs. Williams went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored.
CAA pitcher of the week, senior Aidan Francis, tossed three strong innings and had three strikeouts to record his second win of the season.

Bulldogs sophomore pitcher, Robert McIntosh had a rough outing, giving up six hits and runs in three innings of work to pick up his first loss of the season.
