"Ecocide" Lecture at Carter Library
Historian David Zierler will discuss his new book "The Invention of Ecocide," which chronicles how a group of scientists relentlessly challenged Pentagon assurances of safety, citing possible long-term environmental and health effects, and eventually bringing to an end the practice of using of herbicides, such as Agent Orange, in wars.
