Call to Action Citywide Community Meeting

Community members are invited to discuss and address the impact the CRCT cheating scandal is having on our children.  The meeting is being called to enlist the community support in putting in place solution-based responses to address the critical need to help students in the areas of  math and reading.  Churches will be encouraged to start literacy programs and parents will be provided and opportunity to get parent training to learn how to engage their child's school.

Also speaking tonight will be Senator Vincent Fort, Rev. A.J. McMichael, current and former students of APS, parents and grandparents of current APS students, State Rep. and former State Board of Education Member Gloria Bromell  Tinubu, Rev. Timothy McDonald,  LaToya Jones, National Office of the American Federation of Teachers.
