Congratulations to the Drew Charter School Science Olympians who won third place and a spot to compete in the upcoming State Championships.

Last weekend, fourth and fifth graders from Drew Charter School participated in the Northeast Georgia science competition called The Science Olympiad.

Teams of young scientist from various schools competed against other elementary schools in 18 different events ranging from building rockets, testing their knowledge about bugs and rocks to building bridges made out of straws (just to name a few).

The science teachers who trained these winners are Mrs. Keisha Tyson Johnson, Mr. Ronnie Thomas and Mrs. Consuela Taylor.
