Great communities ensure great schools. And great schools ensure great communities!!!
Let's keep our intown neighborhoods and schools in the Grady Cluster strong by turning out the vote onTuesday, Dec. 3, for the Atlanta Board of Education "run-off" elections for citywide At-Large Seats 8 & 9. Don't let the other communities make this decision for you.
Every vote matters and every vote counts! The ABOE will be making many significant decisions right away (i.e. the selection of the next APS Superintendent), and throughout their 4-year term (i.e. balancing the budget while ensuring optimum teacher/student ratios, decentralization vs. centralization, school governance models, etc.). These decisions will impact every school and neighborhood in the Grady Cluster. All intown residents (whether they have children or not) should learn about the candidates and wisely choose who will move the district forward and beyond the issues our the past four years. We cannot afford to waste four years if we value the public education (traditional or charter) provided by the Atlanta Public Schools.
All registered voters are eligible to vote in the run-off elections on Tuesday, Dec. 3, regardless of whether you voted or not in the general election on Nov. 5. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close a 8 p.m.
