Leadership vs. Bullying
Some young people (and adults) confuse bullying with leadership. They are very different.
With the start of another state legislative session, the inauguration of the President, and the gridlock in our Congress, I thought that these words of wisdom from the Girl Scouts are worthy of sharing as a guide to our elected leaders and to every one of us:

A bully uses her power in negative ways................A leader brings about positive change.

A bully threatens other people..............................A leader makes others feel comfortable.
A bully wants others to obey without question.......A leader encourages others to ask questions and find solutions.
A bully acts to exclude certain people....................A leader works to include and support others.
