Kirkwood Crowned Neighborhood of the Year
Kirkwood beat Grant Park for the bragging rights.
Kirkwood is metro Atlanta's best neighborhood, according to Curbed Atlanta voters.
The neighborhood beat out Poncey-Highland and Inman Park in its half of the draw, to go head-to-head against Grant Park, which bested Old Fourth Ward, Candler Park and Glenwood Park in its half.
"The burgeoning DeKalb County 'little city within a city' reigns supreme as 'Neighborhood Of The Year' " Curbed Atlanta, a real estate-oriented website, wrote.
But it was close; Kirkwood won with 50.2 percent of the votes cast, nabbing the crown by a difference of just 23 votes.
