EAST ATLANTA — The other half of what had formerly been the old Ace Village Hardware store is undergoing a transformation.
The property at 1231 Glenwood Ave., Suite B, is to be the new home of the Village Church of East Atlanta, a non-denominational ministry that currently holds its Sunday worship services in Brownwood Park.
Begun in June, the construction and buildout work, which the church is chronicling on its Facebook page, completes the half of the Ace Hardware site that had been vacant.
The other half was converted into the Village Fitness gym, which opened in February of 2011.
