Construction Update: College Football Hall of Fame

The Hall of Fame, which is relocating from South Bend, Ind., is scheduled to open in 2014.

DOWNTOWN — With all the planned and ongoing construction of late, the skyline of the core city center will undergo a massive transformation.

There's the $90 million Atlanta Streetcar, the National Center for Civil & Human Rights and of course, the planned $1 billion new home for the Atlanta Falcons.
The College Football Hall of Fame, which is scheduled to open in 2014 is yet another project.The $66.5 million project, which, when complete, will include a 94,256-square-foot facility is being built near the Georgia World Congress Center, at Marietta and Baker streets.
