Tired Of Tire Dumping?

Councilwoman Natalyn Archibong wants community input about problem areas

Following some discussion and review by the Atlanta City Council in May, the city is creating a tire commission to fight tire dumping plaguing several neighborhoods, including in East Atlanta Patch.

One of the commission's main goals will be to ensure enforcement of anti-tire dumping statutes.

Councilwoman Natalyn Archibong — whose District 5 Tire Roundup program has collected and properly disposed of more than 10,000 tires since 2002 — wants the public's help in identifying locations.
