Resurfacing Projects to Close Street Lanes This Week

Motorists are urged to use caution and to avoid.

The Department of Watershed Management issued the following alert regarding several street projects and lane closures in several East Atlanta Patch communities, weather permitting. Flaggers will be onsite at each. Motorists are urged to use caution and to avoid the area if possible. (Click on our interactive map):

KIRKWOOD:
  • Resurfacing Project to Affect Locust Street. Milling and paving to close lanes on Locust Street to Trotti Street intersection on Aug. 15 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Crews will be milling and paving Locust Street, resulting in lane closures during construction hours.
  • Resurfacing Project to Affect Trotti Street. Milling and paving to close eastbound lane on Trotti Street between Warren Street and Howard Street on Aug. 15 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

EAST LAKE:
  • Milling and paving to close southbound lane on East Lake Terrace SE. East Lake Terrace between Hosea L. Williams Drive and Memorial Drive on Aug. 13 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weather permitting, crews will be milling and paving E. Lake Terrace, resulting in lane closures during construction hours.
EDGEWOOD: 
  • Resurfacing Project to Affect Woodbine Avenue. Milling and paving to close lanes on Woodbine Avenue between Montgomery Street and Woodbine Circle on Aug. 14 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Crews will be milling and paving Woodbine Avenue, resulting in lane closures during construction hours.
