Woman Robbed in Inman Park

Thief snatched victim's purse then fled in gray-colored SUV.

Police are looking for gray-colored Ford Expedition or Ford Explorer believed to be the getaway vehicle in a strong-arm robbery of a woman in Inman Park Friday.

In a warning sent to the Lake Claire and Inman Park communities at 7:38 p.m., Valencia Hudson, public safety liaison for Atlanta City Councilwoman Natalyn Archibong, she wrote the victim was approached from behind and the robber grabbed her arms and stole her purse.

The red purse contained her mobile and other items.

Hudson wrote the man is described as black and last seen wearing a red hat, tank top and saggy denim shorts.

He fled in an Expedition or Explorer, which was last seen headed toward Little Five Points.
