Three Robbed in Reynoldstown at Gunpoint in Two Separate Incidents

Incidents mark the 10th armed robbery in an East Atlanta Patch community this month.

REYNOLDSTOWN — Three people were robbed at gunpoint Saturday night in two separate incidents.

The robberies occurred on the same night as a violent hold-up in East Atlanta, where a gunman robbed three men, then shot two of them, killing one of the victims and an armed robbery of the Little Caesar's pizzeria in Woodland Hills.

And in yet another incident, a man was carjacked at the BP gas station on Memorial Drive in the Capitol Gateway neighborhood.

The victim told police a black teen — about 16 or 17 years old — approached him with a black, semiautomatic pistol and took his iPhone.

The teen, who wore a white and blue tee-shirt, light-colored shorts and a red hat that he had on backward, jumped into a dark green or black SUV and drove south on Stovall.

In the second incident, a husband and wife, who were walking to the Estoria Bar, were robbed in the 700 block of Kirkwood Avenue SE.

The victims told police they were approached by a teen armed with a semi-automatic handgun who demanded their money.

The husband complied, handing over his wallet and car keys.

The gunman took the cash from the wallet and handed it back to the victim.

When the wife pleaded for their safety, the gunman fired a shot into the air.

The gunman, described as black, between 5'8" and 5'9" in height, about 17 years old and 130 pounds, ran east on Kirkwood and hopped into a waiting vehicle at the Pearl Street intersection.

The victims said the gun seemed unusual in that it was a long-barrelled, semi automatic weapon with a rectangular- or triangular-shaped chamber with a long skinny barrel.
