The vehicle was taken around 9:30 p.m. Feb. 27 in the 400 block of Oakland Avenue.

According to police, one of the suspects "told the victim to sit on the curb (while pointing a gun to his head), place his head between his knees, and close his eyes. The victim did as instructed, and the suspects entered the car, and drove away."

Lall urged Grant Park and Ormewood Park residents to "be aware of your surroundings at all times, and particularly when you are in your home neighborhood and/or at home."

Lall said the police department has indicated that it will deploy additional officers in the area based on the latest crime patterns.
