Williams' attorney said at the trial that Williams did not intend to kill Lenix, who presecutors say was looking for someone to jump his car, but was giving a "warning shot," the article on ajc.com states.

Charges against the 32-year-old Williams include murder, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony, according to the article.
