Police Investigate ATM Theft at Sweet Auburn Curb Market

Thieves first cased the market before crashing into it with a minivan, police say.

SWEET AUBURN — Authorities are looking for suspects in the theft of an ATM at the Sweet Auburn Curb Market Tuesday morning.

Police told WSB that the thieves, after casing the store, crashed in the market with a white Dodge minivan, which was described as stolen. They took the ATM and fled  the scene in a different vehicle, identified as a red Dodge Dakota.

The report says Homeland Security is examining video to get a license plate number on the Dakota. The market is back open and getting the doors fixed.
