KIRKWOOD — To show our appreciation for Atlanta Police Department Zone 6, we are hosting a "Pops for Cops" this Saturday.
Bringing back a favorite summertime treat — Pops for Cops! — King of Pops will be cutting us a discount, but we still need some donations and of course volunteers to distribute popsicles to our Zone 6 police precinct this Saturday, Aug. 24 at 2025 Hosea L Williams Dr. SE.
Please come on down and show your appreciation to those who risk their lives to better our community. If you have a favorite homemade popsicle recipe, feel free to cook it up, freeze it, and bring it!
You can possibly meet your beat officers and give them a personal high 5 for their hard work making our streets safer.

Ms. Enterkin, a candidate for Atlanta City Council District 5, is chairwoman of the Kirkwood Neighbors' Organization's Public Safety Committee.
