A short presentation that captures a fraction of the positive impact APD had in its communities last month.

Patch Staff Report

Attached here is a brief presentation on the positive work and initiatives of the men and women of the Atlanta Police Department for the month of May 2014, as captured by the news media.

Some of those bright spots include:

•      Atlanta Police participate in emergency preparedness drill

•      Atlanta Police praised for their work with Google Search Appliance

•      Atlanta Police Deputy Chief Shawn Jones appears on V-103

•      Atlanta Police receive national recognition for its use of technology

Take moment to look through this short presentation, which only captures a fraction of the positive impact APD is having in its communities.

I took a late, late walk Sunday night and there seemed to be a police car on every corner. Thanks!
