PEOPLESTOWN — Atlanta police are investigating the death of a 37-year-old Atlanta man found late Wednesday night following a shots fired call.
The man, whom the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office identified as Fikree Jordan, was found in the 900 block of Farrington Place after 10:30 p.m. He was shot multiple times.
Atlanta police homicide investigators responded to the scene, but an APD spokesman said no arrests have been made.
Jordan's death is the first homicide in an East Atlanta Patch community in 2014.
Last year, there were 16 homicides in the three Atlanta Police Department zones that cover East Atlanta Patch communities.
