Man Robbed at Gunpoint in EAV Parking Lot

At one point during the early Wednesday night crime, one of the perpetrators said to the victim, "hurry up before I shoot you."

Atlanta police say a man was robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday night just after exiting his car in an East Atlanta Village parking lot.

According to Sgt. Greg Lyon, the victim told responding officers that he arrived in his car at Graveyard Tavern’s back parking lot before 9 p.m. After exiting his car, he was approached by two black males, one whom said, "stay where you are."

According to Lyon, the victim complied and also put his arms up in the process. The taller male suspect then ordered the shorter one to go through the victim's pocket and he removed his wallet and cellphone.
