Lawyer in anti-graffiti lawsuit has his building vandalized

"Defacing [stuff] is fun" tagger writes

The lawyer representing two Edgewood Avenue homeowners and a metal supply firm in their $1 million lawsuit against a group of graffiti taggers, has his own building spray-painted, the Journal-Constitution reports.

The newspaper said it was unclear who spray-painted Terry Jackson's Old Fourth Ward building with two messages, but the publication said the homeowners in the lawsuit have not had their house spray-painted since its filing.

Recently, the city started targeting taggers. The Atlanta Police Department created its Community Liaison Unit to focus on and other quality-of-life crimes.
