Five Wounded In Lakewood Heights Shootout

Four vicitms sent to Grady.

Five people were shot — four of them hospitalized — late Tuesday night following a shootout in Atlanta's Lakewood Heights neighborhood.

Atlanta police are still looking into what sparked the multiple shootings on Gould Street and have no suspects.

When police arrived at the crime scene, just before 10 p.m. on what is mainly a residential street of modest, single family homes, they found four men with gunshot wounds — two in the chest, one in the leg and the fourth in the arm and possibly the head.

All four were sent to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment, police said. One of the victims with the gunshot wound was listed in critical condition and the other three were listed in stable condition.

Police said there may have been a fifth victim — a woman — who had been grazed in the head but she left the scene before they arrived.
