Cumming Man Turns Himself in For Graffiti Vandalism

Tagger, who went by the moniker "DEBRIS," charged with 20 violations

An 18-year-old Cumming man was charged with 20 counts of graffiti vandalism — including five counts of destruction of property — and is being held on $10,000 bond in the city jail.

Zachary Thomas Thatcher, turned himself in to police Thursday.

Thatcher, who uses the tagging name of "DEBRIS," spray-painted light poles, bridges and signs and public institutions such as Georgia State University and private businesses.

Thatcher tagged a light pole on GSU’s campus on April 30th.

The arrest comes as City Hall has put its focus on finding and nabbing .
