Crime Stoppers Program is Effective Tool in Solving Cases

October is Crime Stoppers Month.

Since its 2007 founding, Crime Stoppers Atlanta has helped solve some 572 cases and led police to 419 arrests, including several members of the Jack Boys Gang.

Crime Stoppers offers anonymity and monetary rewards for information that helps law enforcement solve crimes.

“Crime affects everyone, whether or not they’ve been a victim. It breeds fear, anger and a sense of vulnerability in the community,” said Miguel Sepulveda, director of Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta. “We are all obligated to do our part in fighting crime and making our communities safe and Crime Stoppers is the easiest, most direct way citizens can do their part – submitting tips or contributing to the reward fund.”
