Victims had just come off restaurant shift.

Atlanta police are looking for a man and a woman wanted in connection to an Inman Park armed robbery in the 200 block of North Highland Avenue Wednesday night.

The victims — both employees of the Barcelona Wine Bar — were leaving the popular nightspot following the end of their shift around 11 p.m.

The women were approached by a man and a woman demanding money, Matt Futaral, community manager of the North Highland Steel Flats & Shops complex, wrote in an e-mail alert to the neighborhood listserv.

The man showed what seemed to be small caliber semi-automatic weapon and one of the victims gave the robbers her purse as the other victim screamed for help, according to another warning to the listserv posted by Greg Scott, the Inman Park Neighborhood Association's vice president for public safety.

The two robbers made then fled toward the BeltLine trail.

The gunman is described as being black, 5'6" tall with short hair. He was last seen wearing a dark sweater and blue jeans. His female accomplice is described also is black and is 5 feet tall with curly hair. She was last seen wearing a black tracksuit with white striping.

Both are described as being in their 20s.

Anyone with information is urged to call 911 or Atlanta Crime Stoppers at 404.577.TIPS (8477).

We spotted her last night (Thursday) just before the storm hit and chased her down May to CliftonRead More then up to Glenwood, where we think she turned into that development under construction across from the school. The storm swept in, and we lost her ... she was clearly panicked. Been back on the hunt this morning with no sign. Please call or text us at 423-653-5636 if you spot her!!!

This is a sales pitch, and not a very good one. This development is well over 2 miles from GrantRead More Park; even the map on the developer's site doesn't correctly show where the subdivision is. And where it is, is across Glenwood from Burgess-Peterson ES, where Glenwood is 4 lanes- good luck ever making a left out of there. But if you want to be able to hear I-20, I guess it's a great location.
