Atlanta Police Reminds Football Fans About Clean Car Campaign

Adherence to "Clean Car Campaign" will cut down on thefts from autos.

Changes to the NFL’s policies on what items can be carried into the Georgia Dome are a good time to remind Atlanta Falcons’ fans to never leave items of value in their cars during games.

The Atlanta Police Department is urging fans to pay close attention to the new NFL policies, and to refrain from taking prohibited items with you to the game. NFL policy can be viewed here: http://www.nfl.com/qs/allclear/index.jsp.

Most importantly, never leave those prohibited items in your car.

“All too often, we see motorists leaving valuables in their cars, only to be preyed upon by criminals looking for an easy score,” said Atlanta Police Chief George N. Turner.

“Save yourself a major hassle, and help us cut down on these crimes by adhering to our Clean Car Campaign. Never leave anything of value in your unattended car.”
