Atlanta Police Department Issues Warning for Braves Fans Parking Around Turner Field

Don't leave valuables behind in your vehicles.

SUMMERHILL — The Atlanta Police Department issued an auto larceny alert for motorists headed to the Atlanta Braves games.

During those games, people parking around the stadium and in Mechanicsville neighborhood, have had their motor vehicles broken into for valuables left behind.

Police have specifically warned about incidents occurring on these streets:

  • Hank Aaron Drive
  • Windsor Street
  • Cooper Street
  • Fulton Street
  • Pollard Boulevard lots
  • Formwalt Street 
APD reminds motorists not to leave things like wallets, mobile phones, GPS devices and even shopping or duffel bags behind in their cars as those are thief magnets.
