Armed Robbery in Glenwood Park

Victims were approached by two men, each armed with a semi-automatic pistols.

GLENWOOD PARK — Atlanta police report a couple was robbed Sunday night at about 11 p.m. as they were walking.

The victims told police they were walking northbound on Hamilton Street near Garrett Street when two men came up from behind.

Both men were armed with small, black semi-automatic pistols and ordered the couple to give them all they had.

The victims handed over a wallet and iPhone.

The gunmen headed north on Hamilton and fled in a white, four-door car, possibly a 1999 Cadillac.

The crime is one of a string of armed robberies to hit East Atlanta Patch communities, including in Grant Park and East Atlanta.
