APD Postpones Next Week's Zone Realignment Meeting

Police spokesman cites scheduling conflict as reason for cancellation

The Atlanta Police Department said it will postpone its meeting on its zone realignments originally planned for Feb. 24 because of scheduling conflict.

No new date has been set for that meeting, which addressed Zone 2.

Police spokesman Carlos Campos said Friday the department expects to finalize meeting dates for all six zones, including zones 3, 5 and 6, the three jurisdictions that cover the neighborhoods in East Atlanta Patch.
